Winter Wandering

I love it when base outdoor rec offers these weekday trips. In October it was bike riding through the nearby coastal town, Hachinohe. This month they have some walking tours through Misawa city, right outside the base gates. Its a wonderful way to discover new trails, little cafes, and shops you may not know existed. Plus its a great way to get a little exercise. I need to start wandering about on my own and this gave me the motivation to do so. I did’t take many pictures since I was yapping more than observing but will be trying to take more photos on these little excursions in the future.
