Hirosaki Sakura Festival 弘前さくらまつり

We were in Hirosaki for the Chrysanthemum festival last year and loved the area so we went back for the famous cherry blossoms. This festival was much bigger than the fall one, lots more food and lots more people. It was good though, I got to try my new camera, bye bye canon hello fujifilm. Still trying to figure the thing out since its way more technologically advanced than what I typically use, but I got some nice shots.

We camped near Mt. Iwaki and went to the Takayama Inari Shrine in the morning. I think Shrines are my favorite thing to visit in Japan. Just wish they had more information in English about the deities and history of them because I would really like to learn more.
