Getting our 2015 Christmas tree

This is going to be our last Christmas in Germany...well unless of course we come back in the future...but we are due to move in April of next year.  I had bought a potted tree for my studio Christmas sessions and planned to transfer it to the house but Adam still wanted to go cut one since its an experience we might not get in years to come.  Gracelyn had her idea of a perfect tree...the biggest one we could find lol.

The past 2 years we have had spiked trees that are painful to decorate so when I realized that some of the trees had flat soft needles we went with one of those, I believe its a Fir.  We picked one that we had to cut about 2 feet up because the base was smaller than the midsection.  Gracelyn lost one of my dad's old gloves, about 50 years old...we have managed to lose and find them several times in the last 3 years, luckily we found the match yet again :)  Reason she had taken one off because she had found 2 bamboo sticks she was excited about, because they were perfic'.  Then lost one and had a breakdown.  Adam says he's going to find her some pretty rocks and perfect sticks and wrap them up for Christmas, I think she would prefer that over plastic toys lol.
