Castle Exploring

Transitioning to living in Germany is not easy.  For the first few months, especially with kids, you get a little nervous going out.  You are afraid no one will understand you if you need something and having to communicate with Germans is scary, I am slowly getting better, but its just an anxiety I think I would have in any place where the primary language isn't english.  Today I had the itch to get out and explore without Adam, we are more brave when we explore together so I was a little nervous.  It was a nice exploration.  We visited Burg Lichtenburg in Kusel, about 20min from our home and when Adam got home we went to the Hohenecken ruins.  The castles and hiking here are awesome.
