Beach camping

Beach camping at Padre Island. It's not for everyone...not only did we have to learn to embrace the sand and salt...we were also attacked by swarms of mosquitos at night(kids screaming and terrified at 1am, Im not exaggerating when I say swarms). We were also apparently on crab territory. Couldn't go very far into the water unless you wanted to step on masses of crabs pinching your feet. I did see a fox, which was magical. He stood at the top of a sand dune watching us eat dinner.It was an adventure but probably not one we will do again.
