The beauty of connection

I've been a photographer for 8 years and majority of the images I've taken are posed and perfected. Over the past couple years I took a break from shooting professionally to go back to school to be a graphic designer. When I realized how much I missed shooting I decided to start taking clients again. Throughout my marketing struggle in a new city and country I have been reading a lot of business coaching articles and what I keep hearing over and over is "you need to find your WHY".

I didn't know WHY...I just enjoy taking pictures...and I'm kinda good at it...those are good reasons...right?

It didn't click until the other day when I was going through the photos from recent sessions, the only ones I really loved were the ones that show CONNECTIONS. The love between families are the most beautiful things in life. And then this happened with my 7 year old, after the first day of school, she asked to snuggle....

Just an Iphone pic but I was sure to save it to my computer because its moments like this I want to look back on. The love, snuggles, and laughter of family connections.

My WHY is to create these beautiful memories for others, and while I still pose a bit and give direction during a session its the natural moments that make it magical. So if you book a session with me... I expect you to let your love shine!
