Christmas Floral crowns
I made some crowns for the girls to wear for Christmas photos so I thought I would share my little craft with you.
Supplies:
I cut some wire that wrapped across my head just behind my ears. The girls weren't home to measure so I just figured this length would work. Then I wrapped the wire with floral tape to cover it.
Then laid out my clippings to see how many I needed and started wrapping them to the wire with the tape.
These clippings were from the tree I have in my front yard. It was pretty bushy so I used some wire to tie it back then stuffed the dried flowers into the wire.
Lastly I used some floral tape to wrap some twine to the ends for tie backs.
For the boxwood crown I added cranberries. I just pushed wire through them and wrapped the other end to the crown.
I can't wait to see how the girls look in them. Stay tuned for some Christmas photos :)
Supplies:
- tree clippings (boxwood is my fav, I bought a small one from Lowes for $7 which I will plant and can use next year to make a wreath :), its hard to find anything evergreen here in Texas so I also used some clippings from a cypress tree in my front yard)
- floral tape
- floral wire
- twine or ribbon
- embellishments such as flowers or cranberries
