Barfusspfad

Today we drove up to Bad Sobernheim with our friends and enjoyed a beautiful sunday stroll along the barefoot path.  It seemed like a long drive because it was back roads, but it was very scenic so we didnt mind.  The entry for the park was €9 for 3 of us, Gracelyn was free(under 3).  Once you pay you take your shoes off and leave them on the shelf or in a locker.  Then you experience several different natural textures with your feet, clay, rock, pebbles, grass, logs, creek bed, mulch, and more.  It was pretty neat and the  kids enjoyed it.  Gracelyn was carried for the first part, since the mud was too deep and she doesnt like to walk far.  After we stopped at the creek we let her walk and there were several stations that she was able to do, so I would definitely say that the 2nd half was more toddler friendly.  Patience got a little scared on the bridge but once she realized she wasnt going to fall she was fine.  At the end we grabbed some drinks and let the kids play.  Perfect way to spend a Sunday for sure!  If you want to check it out here is their website.
