Painting some scenes from our recent travels.

Working with soft pastels is fairly new to me. It’s such a loose and forgiving medium. I’m not quite where I want to be with them but I’m getting there and loving the process.
I did a really bad painting yesterday and even though I’ve made several successful pieces it makes me feel inadequate. So today I wanted to sit down and paint in my sketchbook with no pressure. This is the result. 😊
